You're trying too hard to be edgy. Waiting on feedback from mods on the rules that are written (and pending to be published on the boards) to double check work does not equate "we make all the decisions".
You're purposely turning a blind eye to the entire point of the thread, which was to get a gathering of the communities most popular ideas and make them the rules, just for the sake of "screw the police (mods)" mentality.
Please.
"That gives no info" Literally mentions the same things as your original post.
Even mentions that the decisions were chosen based on community feedback. The point of the ENTIRE THREAD was to get community feedback on RULES. Did you read the post or are you just trying to have a war against the mods?
To quote the post I linked:
"I think the best route, based on community input, board cleanliness, and logic (time actually saved) is to ban Snake's Bandanna for the general boards. Depending on the amount of runs we have to "reject" due to using infinite ammo, and general requests, I'll setup the CE board and move those runs over there instead. OOB and glitches won't be a thing since the runs are short enough as is.
I appreciate everyone's feedback on this - it's greatly appreciated."
No, they're piled together by submission time.
It could very well likely be a thing you can only do after X amount of accepted submissions. Anyway, at this point in time, I believe all of your runs in the queue have been either verified or rejected (due to being obsolete).
Okay, then I would like to get these boards launched today, personally. Waiting on some more feedback from other moderators and see if they have any other suggestions or can foresee any issues first.

I'm not sure - I've never tried to delete a run of my own in a queue that I don't moderate. I see the option to delete my runs for other games, but those are already approved. Maybe it's not possible to delete your own pending runs?
No problem, you're almost at the "bottom" of the queue (ignoring the DLC runs) @MyztklKev - which means you'll probably be verified today or early into tomorrow.
The queue is based on time submitted. If you have two runs of the same category, and one beats the other, there will be a notification when we get to your older run that it's obsoleted. We then will just reject that run and go to your next run, generally speaking. Depends on mostly how far apart they are.
Most moderators try to go from the bottom to top (which is by date submitted).
Some exceptions:
- I saw the run live already, I'll jump in and check some quick things and then verify. Prevents redundancy. That's time another mod can spend watching a different run.
- Depending on free time at the moment, I might have time for a couple of HUNK/Tofu runs, but not a Leon hardcore
- Several of us are working on the queue at the same time. Then we'll jump around a bit to prevent overlap, communicating what run we're looking at.
We get a lot of submissions every day. With that said, we don't really have that much back log. If you've been waiting 4 days, chances are you'll be verified today or there's something being discussed about your run for some reason that's holding verification back.
Edit: Just checked, you have two runs that are two days old, and one run that is one day old... Our queue goes back the latest 4 days at this point, and almost all of those are DLC runs that we're not accepting quite yet.
It's SGDQ 2021.
A low FPS runners RE2R run is accepted. Everyone is very proud of them.
The audience watches intensively as Low FPS Runner speaks up "At this point in the run, I'm going to now pause the game and tab out while I launch a 3rd party software to change my frame rate mid-run. This helps me not get grabbed at several parts of the game."
Low FPS Runner adjusts the settings. They run by a licker without fear of taking any damage. The audience claps at this skillset proudly displayed. The couch is giving fistbumps. An anonymous donator from Germany donates $5,000 to Low FPS Runner's choice. The Twilight Zone theme can be faintly heard in the distance. Cut to black.
We have been discussing some ideas and will bring them to the public very soon. It's very unfortunate that there is yet another FPS issue with this game. :(
Main reason I'm against mods in general is that we know the playing field is as vanilla and level as possible. Sure, a texture mod might not change hitboxes or affect frame rate (negatively or positively), but I can't ask a moderator of any game to be up to speed on every possible mod and how it affects a game.
Keeping it vanilla assures for the most part that things are leveled and there won't be any unintended effects.
Just because you haven't experienced something in WoW doesn't mean it's not possible. We're not here to question likelihood of unintended side effects, just if it's possible or not. And it is possible. Mods are great for your own time. But if you want to compete on the leaderboards, the game "state" should be the same for everyone, at least in as many ways as possible.
Imagine going to a competitive gaming event and you make it to the final round. You bust out your copy of the game with modified textures. Think it would fly there? No, and for a similar mindset/reason.
I actually like that idea a lot @LadOkapi Keeps the boards clean, and if there's actually enough demand for infinite ammo, we can toss it on extensions without making the main boards a mess over a few seconds (likely) saved.
@theLEVIATHAN06 the main game has NG+ though - which is a reason we're asking for input on how the community wants it sorted :)
Thanks for the feedback guys. I am more leaning towards banning it as well, in my personal opinion (which I think weighs in no more than anyone else).
I would like to get a little more feedback on this, so please post your thoughts if you haven't already.
Hey all,
Just wanted to get some input from everyone regarding the DLC released on Friday.
As most of you know, there's an infinite ammo accessory that you can earn by using less than 60 handgun bullets in No Way Out scenario.
Obviously, this accessory greatly differs speedrun routing for the various Ghost Survivors categories.
A couple of different ideas have been tossed out there on how to handle this:
- Infinite ammo is separated into a sub-category (messy, obviously)
- Infinite ammo is a variable/filter on the boards (possibly hidden by default, depending on popularity)
- Ban it
I would like to get some feedback on this. If anyone has any suggestions, please share them. We would like to ideally get the boards for Ghost Survivors created/opened officially sooner rather than later.
Thanks!
Yup, it's possible 60 FPS will get 3x its current runners to catch up and overtake 120 FPS. If that happens, then 60 will become the default. It's always going to be whichever is most popular.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. The mods are discussing this right now. I'll post an update shortly.
Okay @umedajapan - I made an update to the splitter. I'm curious if it works for you now, if you could please test. Please wait about 5 minutes and restart LiveSplit.
