So, I was interested in speedrunning PaRappa The Rapper, so naturally I install a PSX emulator and start practicing.

Anyways, I check the mod's profile on speedrun.com: https://www.speedrun.com/user/Figurized ...He's the only mod on the leaderboard.

So when I look, he's been inactive on speedrun.com for a month, which was already a red flag. I look through all his social media that he's provided, and he's been inactive for even LONGER on those.

So then I looked up his discord, and it doesn't exist! https://imgur.com/a/y7Lwakz I then search up his ID number, and it's the same deal.

Anyways, this game needs a new mod, and I would be very willing to fill that role.

As someone who has used this site for 2 years, i'ld like to welcome you. Like MelonSlice, you can definitely run niche games, but if you want to see really crazy speedruns, look at Portal glitched runs, TAS ones especially.

For such a common language, the site probably already has enough of people to translate.

From someone who uses n64 emulators on a regular basis, if you're looking for efficiency and speed:

Use Project64 1.6, and if it cant run it smoothly at 240p.....

You're pretty much screwed.

I think if you wanna be a translator you have to contact the site mods correctly.

But im not one, so....I wouldn't know. What are you planning to translate to, anyways?

I'd be happy to verify runs for portalize, I visit speedrun.com multiple times throughout the day, and ive got time to lose.

I'd be down to run this game, it looks fun and it looks like it'd be pretty cheap (no offense). Knowing me, i'd probably try to go for Any%.

I can't remember any games that have gotten me teary-eyed, but im surprised no one's mentioned Ace Attorney: Justice For All's bad ending.

I agree that there should be a report username option, though I have a feeling its the same person, considering that the og account hasn't been logged into in 2 years.

If you're gonna do SNES runs, try and get an og snes if possible, it's more accurate.

Ocarina of time has some of the most interesting and fun glitches out there, and is generally fun to play.

Any% can be done in under 30 minutes, even with the old Kakariko Bottle route.

Learn how to do it? There's probably a tutorial around somewhere.
