Hamilton, ON, CanadaThats the last thing I have to say on the matter. Alot of my frustration is also related to a my frustration of a exterm amount of cheating runs on this site.
Darth if someone cheated to beat you using a mame trick thats not from the original game to beat one of your world records , would you not be annoyed and a but upset? I just want things to be fair and the rules to be updated and his run removed. That is all. You would want the same is this happend to you. I understand when I 1st Commented I was very angry and speaking kinda crazy about the situation but I have since claimed down about it. Even even beat his time legit and just want what's fair to me and the the runner on the leaderbored. Saying ban me cause this form bothers you , that's ridiculous. You are a great runner and I'm shocked you can't put yourself in my shoes and understand why I'm bothered by this
His run should be removed. If he is good at the game. He should able to play with 2 buttons like everyone else on the internet. Konami didn't include the short jumping because after testing it made the game to easy. And arcade games are supposed to make money and be hard. Since he is the only one to sneek this in , just remove his run. And he can run the game agian using the original controls. And update the rules, 2 buttons controls only, no 3rd button short jumping for ppl using mame.
Dude the arcade didn't have 3 buttons , IT had 2. Any real copy of this game has to buttons. The rules even state no button remapping this run with be removed soon. Better practice with 2 buttons. Stop cheating just because you don't know how the real game worked and played you playing roms you have no knowledge of the original game.
In all due respects I am convinced he is cheating I just beat the game 7 times back-to-back and my best time was 12 minutes 17 seconds all other times were between 12 minutes and 25 seconds and 12 minutes and 45 seconds the game feels super easy to me now I can beat it almost at will without using a continue every time. Yet even with his strats and some of my own I can't seem to do better than a current 1217 that I'm not going to bother submitting because I wasn't even recording. The way I see it playing on the saga Genesis I don't think anyone could do better than 11 minutes 30 seconds and even that seems to be pushing it THere is a cheat codes I saw online called in the garden which gives an option for rocket I think he may be using this and this might be the trick of his sleeve or the Ace up his sleeve so to speak. As maybe this cheat rocket allows his boost or nos to push him faster ramming cars quicker cause it seems like hes able to ram people faster and more often with less knock back. It makes no sense to me because on the Genesis it seems like sub 10 minute is absolutely positively impossible. I'm a pretty dqmn good gamer pretty well rounded as well rounded as well I've done more than even my profile displays and there was something extremely fishy about this guy's runs . maybe he is running TAS and that TAS is showing the inputs that the TAS knows what happened and hes sitting there pretending or hes using this cheat rocket but I don't think with a legit run you can do faster than 11 minutes 30. And in all honesty sub 11 minute truly seems impossible on the saga Genesis. After I defeat each boss I still have quite a bit of time on all stages I'm never running short running short and I'm having very clean runs and they're always between basically 1215 and 1250. I want to tell him Ggs I want to say I'm sorry but I just feel there's something very fishy about his runs.
Ya buddy using other women's photos is super strange to people from 1st world countries. Maybe that's normal behavior in your land but not over here. That is very childish and so is using Tas runs while sitting at your computer pretending to play. Just thanks the mods for not not caring enough to remove your BS run. Retro games with a keyboard what a joke.
You 100% cannot do short jumps with the 2 button arcade original verison. Only emulation can thus be done. And legit verison like the ps4 version by Konami its NOT possible

What's this the short jumping. That's Not how jumping works in the real game. this is a cheating run. #busted and reported to the mod
I also notice there is a run thats not showing on the leaderbored. Tho their run is approved. Was curious as to why it's not visible. Their run is 1051 I just watched it seems legit. Odd it's not showing on the leaderbored tho
I would gladly be a mod as well. And turth us even if they could do sub 10 mins live a few times that would also help show they have the skill to possibly get 8'13 but I don't think they will join the conversation.
Awesome to hear and even more awesome offer them to join the discussion. When watching their run the way they hit the cars is just unreal they are glued to the boss car and take zero knock back damage. And when I saw the run on a tas website that was the nail in the coffin for me. If you look at my time of 1219 and last place 1411 that's less then 2 Mins with all other runners times in between those. Yet their run def in a league of their own over 4 mins ahead of mine. Odd stuff indeed. And it's a shame so many do cheat. But it's always great to catch them and remove them. It really helps the credibility of this site
This is more enough to prove that run is a tool assisted run. Wayyy to many cheaters getting runs approve on this site. Mods be careful. And always be skeptical. This was found and brought to my attention from Canadian gamer. I've busted many cheaters in the past. But I tip my hat to Canadian with this one. Well done.
Not being a hater but why is Dashas run on a TAS website. 8 mins is only possible with Tas
