So, we are almost at a point where pure has more players on its board than any other wipeout game, We come a long way, and I just wanted to say thank you for patience in revamping and moving improvements along with the board! If you have any suggestions, such as making a discord server or etc, dont be afraid to ask, im a little slow as i dont speedrun much anymore, I do alot of art on the side these days and it takes up "competitive time" for the most part. But I'm thinking about trying my hand at some individual runs!
i reported these mods, but they finally budged and fixed the problem, i also messed up judging something, how do i undo a report to save site mods time and trouble?
Ok, so im finding out that you can finish a level at the same time that you lose all your lives, as all the finishing level screens still play, but the giant curtain comes down after. Should I let runs be valid like this? completing a run while losing a last life? Or should a person still be have to continue to the next level for it to count?
I cant edit my game at all, i was given mod status after it was abandoned years ago, and i understand why they made it so bare bones. I hear the "-" symbol messes things up but the problem is that its actually IN the name of the game and I cant edit the game title, I cant add platforms or anything. Even if I dont change anything it freaks out and continues to have the error
I hear a lot about games with really short run times not being accepted by the rules. But what about really old games from the Atari consoles and such. a lot of those games are high score based or very short in general. Would most of them just not get accepted? Alot of them are about "get this score as fast as possible." If its like that is there an exception to that rule? there is less than 100 games under these consoles, and even less than 30 on other consoles around that time. I would love to try to get some fun Atari games in for people to try.
Cant read 2 inputs at once. Im using the latest version and everything else works on the other cores and roms ive used, Im using wired xbox one controller. Im also running on pc. No inputs are contradicting.
Hello, I'm Long, robot with weird taste in speedrunning. I recently became the world record holder for California games 1 on NES and 2 for SNES, and awaiting wr verification on Olympic summer games 96. If you have any ideas for silly novelty speedrun games that aren't very popular, I would love to try.
I get everything to show up perfectly, but livesplit freezes and I can't even restart the program, I dont have a second monitor so I keep having to stop recordings to check and I just keep wasting my time, how do I fix? If I just don't use OBS fullscreen but edit to not show my desktop can I just do that? Throw on a black Ms paint background or something? Live doesn't even start in fullscreen,
Edit: so the tutorial given said to keep global hotkeys off, but turning it back on lets me use it fullscreen now, but sometimes timer doesn't start while game is in fullscreen, I try wsplit and it works but doesn't show the numbers moving until I exit full screen
