His world is loading in and the time’s about to start. Whatever world is generated at this point is vital to the success of a world record speedrun. If the seed is good, you’re good; if the seed’s bad, you’re never gonna get a world record. Huge shout out to Brentilla for this incredible speedrun. Being near a village spawn at the beginning of the game, beds instantly, this is utterly incredible and the exact start that you need. Obviously, if we’re checking out a world record there’s going to be a lot of luck involved here but no doubt a ton of skill as well. Now I’ve actually checked out a few world records myself, or at least the strategy needed to get a world record and complete Minecraft in as quick a time as this. I thought it was just a load of rubbish—completing Minecraft in under 10 minutes? Takes me 10 hours just to find diamonds! But no, this is fully legit and the strategies in place that you’re gonna see here are the exact strategy obviously to get the quickest speed possible.

At this point we’ve probably just worked out where we want to make our very first house and we’ve placed down our very first dirt box. Not for this guy, he’s getting the vital pieces needed.

Ooh, so this is huge. Ooh, he’s gonna take down an iron golem. I’m sure you guys know, taking down an iron golem as long as you’re a little bit higher than them is actually not as hard as it looks. And if you’re wondering why there’s hitboxes around all of the players: that is allowed, it is all within the rules and logistics of getting a Minecraft world record. Obviously checking your coordinates, different areas on the map, and information that is given to you in-game is allowed. That is not cheating.

most verifiers verify older runs first, a few verify runs in specific categories regardless of the date

FSG stands for Filtered Seed Glitchless. It will always spawn you next to a ruined portal with a looting 3 sword and a nearby fastion, with the most recent generators.

strongholds cant generate near spawn in java edition, so that isnt possible

Use a triangulation cheat sheet (like this one: https://imgur.com/gallery/PUsG4Cc) to roughly calculate the stronghold distance. With this strategy, you shouldn't need to throw more than 3-4 eyes.

it's technically possible with sound cues and memorization, but the only problem is that you spawn on a random block within a 20x20 (?) area.

No, the center of the fortress is NOT the lava well, as most people believe. The fortress originates and branches out from a crossroad/junction in the chunk coordinates 11,11. This short clip of Matthew Bolan's video explains it.
