FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
You can find the rules over at https://www.mcbe.wtf/rules
No. Timers are not required for runs as us moderators will retime you runs anyways. Requiring a timer is also against the site moderation rules
No. We don't allow this in order to avoid players purposely submitting glitchless runs to glitch categories with less players to increase their position on leaderboards. It also makes the leaderboards more accurate as doing otherwise would mean copy pasting every glitchless run to glitch leaderboards.
As long as your submission meets both the category and game rules, it is considered enough proof for your run and it will be verified.
Always submit your run as the platform of the physical device you played on. If you played on an iPhone, submit as iOS. If you played on a Windows PC, submit as PC.
As long as your video doesn't get taken down by the time we review your run, there is no problem with music in your runs. It's also not recommend to use "Dream running" music, because it might make your run come off as a troll submission (we get these A LOT).
No.
It depends. If your texture pack provides an advantage such as clear water, no nether fog, etc. its banned. If it does not provide any kind of advantage, its legal. Short swords is NOT considered an advantage. If you're still not sure, contact a moderator.
Splicing multiple clips together is out of the question as stated in the game rules. Potential alternatives include but are not limited to, purchasing a capture card, or recording via an external device such as a phone or camera.
Trapping the Wither in bedrock is considered a glitch and is only allowed for glitch categories. Trapping the Wither in obsidian however is considered glitchless and allowed in those categories.
eh maybe as a small competition on the side for fun with a forum thread as a leaderboard or something. But not a normal category on the boards.
Do we give our own seed for runners to run, or do runners use their own "bad" seed?
You could make the same argument than for Java. Why have hardcore mode listed here when there is no difference to playing it on hard mode optimally? It's a way of going for speedruns knowing that if you die, that's the end of the run because you have a single life.
Ok but thats literally just any% except you reset more. Also this isnt Java.
I dont see how that would be different to just playing hard mode optimally
Glad to see I got so many people lol Here is my actual layout along with a hand reveal
https://www.mkwpp.com or https://www.mariokart64.com/mkw It's also linked on the left hand side of the screen where it says
Players' Page (Time Trials)
also the host needs to record
Thanks @MKWilliam I'm currently in the process of fixing all the character/vehicle combos and did come across some Funky Kong/Bullet Bike times. I'll change them over to Flame Runner as I'm guessing it's just runners playing on PAL copies where the vehicle is called the Bowser Bike
