Airwalking is also possible for normal Any% but you have to be able to mash like a mad man. See below video.

It seems to be easier if you mash aim near a wall since it can "push" you outwards. This seems to give you that extra "oomph" to lock him into airwalk state. The chapter 4 to 12 skip is technically possible with this method for Any%. If you are amazing at mashing, you could do every airwalk in Any% and get a time of around 30 minutes. Sub 30 being the goal.
