Save Editing

Recently I got bored and accidentally located the Ticket save directory.
(Which any smart human being would think it is Appdata without having to find it but shut up idiot.)

So here's what every value does, how to edit them, and some pre-made saves.

--------SECTION 1: HOW TO EDIT THEM--------

Locate the save file in your Appdata folder.
How do you do this?

(MAKE SURE VIEW HIDDEN ITEMS IS ON, GOOGLE IT!)
1. Open File Explorer
2. Select Local Disk (?: ) (Use whatever disk has windows installed on it.)
3. Users > YOURUSERNAME > AppData > Local > ticket > cont.ini
4. Right click cont.ini
5. Open With > Notepad 

Congrats! You've done it!
This directory also holds screenshots, you might have some.
However, I have NO idea how you save screenshots.

If you'd like a better text editor, notepad++ makes looking at all of this data easier.
But it isn't required.

Feel free to post your own saves in the Forums.

--------SECTION 4: INSTALLING A SAVE--------

Simply replace the existing cont.ini with the new one you've downloaded in the AppData folder.
How do you do this?

1. Open File Explorer
2. Select Local Disk (?: ) (Use whatever disk has windows installed on it.)
3. Users > YOURUSERNAME > AppData > Local > ticket > cont.ini
4. Place the recently downloaded "cont.ini" into the folder.
5. "Replace The File In The Destination"

Now your save is successfully replaced, restart the game and you should have it now.

Tech Guide

This is a collection of Tech associated with controlling Shoe.
This is technically finished until we find more tech.
If you do have more Tech, post it in the forums if you want it to be added and eventually I'll add it.

Double Jump:
Walking off an object does a small hop, still allowing you to input a jump in 
mid-air. Allows you to make jumps easier and even pull off a skip in Old Man's Brain.

Reverse Jump:
Jump and hold right and left, you'll move backwards very slowly.
It is useless but it does allow you to move backwards during Train Track.

Reverse Walk:
Hold right, then hold left whilst still holding right.
Every few jumps you'll move a bit backwards. 
Useless.

Ticket 100% Guide (WIP)

✓ all gems and money (WILL STAY COLLECTED ON DEATH) (THIS ONLY APPLIES FOR ALL THE LEVELS ON YELLOW MAP)
✓ need 3 intentional deaths over run, to get ZO in the afterlife
✓ CANT use CRUSH!!! (obviously)

Levels:

Day 1: A World of Minor Differences

> completely straightforward
> zo is across invisible platforms
> don't forget the money above the invisible platforms

Day 2: Caneen

> spring shoe
> jump off woodrop to get money
> back to left to get ZO, must bounce off woodrop
vanilla route
>jump over F
> money, drop to left to get money above balloon
>jump back over and fall down right side, complete level.

Day 3: Dr. Drop It

> jump around the platform and grab zo in the unintended way. you'll die. 
> natural route, all out of the way gems are visible
> 3 vertical balloons to the right of flip have money above them
> furthest up right flip, don't forget the money on the way back past the gemfall

CAMPFIRE

become magical (sit by the campfire and let Smoke Man turn you into smoke shoe)

Day 4: Old Man's Brain

> die and take a break, walk all the way to the sick man and walk out (we'll ellaborate later)
> green pill, fall to left for gems
>must go above spike shoe on way back for gems (can't reach)
> grab money on dark brain to the righ
> yellow pill
> jump off tiniest fish to get to money (can't do blue pill skip)
> red pill
> backtrack a bit to get zo, F
*potential: maybe going to get the money near blue pill later? probably not feasible can't jump from right (hit electric)

Day 5: BLUE MAP (Not Actually A Map)

> navigate the "map"
> press the jump button on the level button
> jump around and make it to the first red button
> jump to the right of the button and jump onto the button far enough to the right to where you end up inside of the wall
> hold left and hold jump and jump out of the wall to the higher balcony on the left
> play until you meet the first robber in the map
> drop down to the right and grab the zo
> go back up around
> play the rest of the level as usual

LUDE' 1

Select the right elevator (we'll go into detail why later)


Day 6: Goes Down The Slip

> fall down the first pit
> move a bit to the left to avoid having to stop
> go along the bottom to the right 
> grab the apple
> using apple powers go straight to the right and avoid wooddrops (stay along the bottom of the screen)
> shimmy through the wooddrops and grab the zos, then return to the apple
> go back to the F using your apple powers (the apple allows you to go through walls so abuse that to cut corners and avoid
damage)

Day 7: Snacke's Stomach (Map 4)

> start the map 
> collect enough yellow squares to enter the snacke
> ride the snacke until you get to the zos
> die while collecting the zos
> immediately die again to enter Day 0
(Day 0: Dead)
(You are dead, move to the right and jump over the F.)
(move over and grab the Zos.)
(move back and finish the "level")
> select map 5 now 

Day 8: Level 1 (Map 5)

> start the map
> go to the top right and start the level
> go along the top row of the level until you reach the first turtle
> jump over the top of the screen using the turtle (and get a bunch of gems)
> jump along the pillars and then jump over the top of the screen again
> collect the zo and complete the level as usual (grab as many gems as possible since we don't take snacke's stomach for gems)

LUDE' 2: HELL

Due to how the "cutscenes" in Ticket work, you mash as fast as the text progresses. This is kinda the first "real" "cutscene" so get ready to destroy your hand upon starting it.

Day 9: Nanchi

> hold right 
> dude enters you (is this shoe vore?)
> walk to the left and grab zo
> walk to the right and make sure to constantly tap z to keep off the ground and to keep from touching the ceiling (its a tiny bit faster lol)
> think about life
> think about all the things you have done up to this point
> think this: "Man, I am the best at Ticket. I got this far in my 100% speedrun, only 3 levels left. I got this."

Day 10: Sunflower

> play the level as usual, jump past the 2 turtles in containment and jump up using the balloons.
> spring shoe
> using the balloons jump over the normal shoe thing
> jump up and skip a large chunk of the level using the spring 
> jump over the F to the left
> jump onto the wooddrop and grab the zos
> fall back down and get the F

Day 11: Rainbow Weather (Some of the names of this level: the worst level, holy shit oh my god, I hate you mr.dweed, fuck u the level, really gay, stupid ass level, run killer.)

> Honestly with how odd this map is structured and the lack of landmarks just look at the playlist at the top of the page, that includes all of the 100% run videos for the days
> Feel free to use Saint's version of the Day 11 skip if you think it would be faster, I use the other version since it is safer and since this is 100% you don't need to save ALL of the time

MAP MOVEMENT

since there are 2 very special parts of the run we have to nail while making our way to Train Track I'll go into detail.
first thing you should do is enter the horse park and immediately buy a horse
after that enter the grocery store and purchase a key (this is 100 gems out of your total so if you have to cut corners during the devil fight due to not having enough make sure you do)
now with your key enter the back of the grocery store
this is where the sick man side-quest pays off
navigate through the "enemies" and enter the elevator (if you followed my previous instructions) you should be greeted with a sick man cutscene
mash to skip the cutscene and carry on with the game

Day 12: Train Track

> basically a break after such an "hard" and "exhausting" run
> abuse the double jump glitch to make it over the pits if you often fall into them (like I do)

DEVIL FIGHT

go into your summons
use the horse, smoke man, sick man, and the snacke.
that should drastically lower his hp
now use a few normal kicks (to save gems of course)
that should kill him 
now you should spam to skip the cutscene
now we are coming up on the worst part of the run

DIGGER (If you are running Digger 100%)

Day 1 - try to avoid regular shoe for tiny timesave
grab the gems instead of dropping under for the tiny timesave cos gems r goode

Day 2 - get teeth and hold right, do not need to get regular shoe

Day 3 - huge skip - half the level
setup: get spring shoe, go up and back around to L. jump up and over the shape person to get back to the second flip swirly in the stage. jump over the shape person again, and use his head to get up to the top of the upside down L. then go left to complete the stage.

Day 4 - CRUSH!!!!!

Day 5 Blue Map - straightforward level

lude 1 - left or right doesn't matter for any%

Day 6 Text map - shrug

Day 7 - pick map 4, it's an autoscroll nothing to say here don't crash you lose time, collect as many gems as possible they save time later.

Day 8 - you don't get to play this unfortunately

Day 9 - hold right and occasionally up.

horse? about 6 seconds to get, see how much damage it deals

Day 10 - intended skip, get second spring and avoid normal shoe. the platform just past the goal can be reached so long as you don't hit the side of it. UNFORTUNATELY you can get stuck.

Day 11, Rainbow Weather - there is a fish on the invisible blocks. by jumping off it and holding hard left right at the left edge of the platform, you can hit a swirly and skip a decent chunk of the level. 
 - when you get spike boot and flip, go down and hold right, but don't go past the second of two swirlies, otherwise you will miss the platform and die.
 - when you go through spike boot gate, just fall through the second hole to the right and go straight down. this way you avoid the potential to land on the electric. you can probably make this jump by foothopping.
 - go right, then there's a few swirlies. you can make this whole thing to the balloons in one fluid motion without landing. just hold right through it, press left and fall through the grating, then hit right again and fall through the second grating. there might be potential for a skip here however. needs testing.

Day 12, train track - hold right. jump like three times.

Satan fight - current brainless strat is - use all gems on kicks then mash weak kick that does roughtly 1-5 damage and takes maybe half a second?

The Snacke - does ~60 damage, use him

Horse - does ~60 damage, 6 seconds to get him is around 30 damage worth so definitely worth to use.

Might be other time saves that are easy to grab.

Don't use the man, for he is dead and The Devil takes 0 damage.

once he's dead, mash z until you can click x (in-game, don't close the game itself....) and then double click beach.exe. then hold right for the most part. you're done.
