You should stay away from rocks and go through the grass patches if you can

You  can destroy the grass and sometimes it'll give you health and coins

Use the coins to buy boomerangs, remember the blue ones deal more damage while the orange ones just carry more stuff.

That's about it, this is just a mini-guide, you can add on if you find this unhelpful/bad info.

Dont hit mobs with the boomerang as it induces knockback, instead, either chase after them or just let them hit you.
