A friend and I found a nice way to clip through a fence and save pretty much no time, tho this same method of clipping will probably apply to other spots, potentially with other objects too so I thought I'd share:
Best place I could see something like this being used is to clip into the control room maybe? Could be worth looking into.
Update: found something, too tired to keep testing but it's most definitely possible: If done quickly it can probably save a few seconds?
Phlap and I wanted to do a little bit of glitch hunting on stream tomorrow, are there any other theoretical timesaves with OoB clips ?
I'm just wondering... If there's a way to bring the box to the OUTSIDE final door, and skip the whole Control Room. But I don't even know if the zone loads before you open the roof and if those machines go down stairs?
Wow @Cornpalaceboy, that is for sure better than the normal way. Also after 1h15+, which is GREAT.
@Fleakee i just tried what you suggested and the box will not follow you past a certain point so as far as i can see you cant even get it down the stairs.
@Fleakee just tried to push it for a while and you can push it out of it's pathfinding limit a little but then there seems to be an invisible wall
that's as far as I've been able to get it
Yeah same, just tried it and it doesn't even want to get close to it. And there's absolutely nothing close to the door except 2 NPCs. Might be a tough one to crack, but skipping Control Room would be a huge time save, surely worth looking for glitches. Just the cutscenes by themselves take so much time.
it would be nice if in a future update they added a skip button for cutscenes
Hey all!
There have been several recent changes to the rulesets. I encourage everyone to review the rules in full, but the main changes are listed below:
IL's now end at the first checkpoint of a future chapter. Please review individual chapter rules for which checkpoints are used.
