Hi! First time posting on the forums. Huge fan of Stardew (400 hours on Playstation, 520 currently on PC). I've been playing with some speed run concepts and watching a lot of videos as it looks fun to do, but had a question about macros (Glitchless).
My situation I'm currently figuring out is I have a Logitech mouse with programmable side keys. Now, the rules say you cannot have a macro that automates AC timing, but what about a macro you have to time yourself? Can I have a macro that does the shift+del+R, so I just have to push my side button and time it myself (basically rotating between left click and side button)?
Thanks for letting me know. I just wanna make sure I'm not breaking any rules as I start doing some personal tests.
Yes, as long as you do manual timing, that is fine. I used to physically tape keys down to only need to press 1 key to cancel (since the other two were already active) which would effectively be the same as what you are describing.
Alright folks, it's been a week since 1.6 dropped and it's already been a wild start! So many new mechanics, QoL fixes, and general nonsense. We're going to start lifting the embargo here on 1.6 runs, sometime tonight the options should populate on SRC and you'll be able to select the new version. W
