This is adding on to my earlier point that IGT should count on the leader boards. I think that IGT should count for leader boards for this reason. This would help to standardize time between everybody and even the playing field.

It has been included as a secondary timing method for quite a while now if you wish to have it. It will most likely never be promoted to primary due to the fact that the large majority of runners back then and now still do not care enough to bother with retiming their runs for accurate IGT, hence why since the beginning it was never a requirement (imagine having to manually retime 30+ runs every day of release month), and many of them made the switch to the Digital version anyway. Some of the moderators have begun converting a few categories to have all runs include IGT but that has slowly halted (manually retiming IGT for ~2750 runs is not fun) as again, this is for a minority.
