So, I think I'm the first one to find this and I found it in the last two years. You know the little lava at the end of Dino Mountain? Well, if you choose a lightweight character, (i.e Shadow or Knuckles) you can skip it. Once you are at the corner where the section is start drifting, then, go right to the little ramp and make sure you have a fully charged boost. Release it and you should have enough momentum to make it to the third little ramp, hop of that one and you've skipped probably the most boring section in DM.
