World 1 Any% Guide (Updated Level 5/7 Guide)

I’ll try to optimise World 1 as possible, and here’s the guide:

Level 1 is just rushing, only times saves are how quick you start walk and end dialogues.

Level 2 has 1 skip.

By jumping here you save around half a second.

The 3 jumps at the end of level 2 can all be done with one jump to avoid bumping.

Level 3 has 2 skips.

By timing a good single jump, you don’t need to push the block down.

Next, you can just jump over without going up to push the blocks.

Level 4 & 5 don’t have big skips, mostly movement optimisations. Here’s a small skip of level 5 by SlothLord :

For level 6, there is one skip.

You don’t need to wait for the platform, you can just double jump through.

Level 7 also has no skips, but some places can be passed quicker by just jumping over cactuses. Here’s another footage of movement optimisation:

For level 8, there are 3 minor skips:

double jumping instead of going down;

well timed platform double jump instead of jumping over orb then jump to other side;

Lastly, level 9.

basically, by jumping over the button, you will trigger the door open animation later, not at the start. This prevents you from wasting time if you die there.

By double jumping on mushroom later, instead of jumping onto platform then jumping on mushroom, it is quicker.

That’s all! The boss fight is just dialogue optimisation, also known as spamming XD
