Hi. I am ActuallyElite and I am wondering if you have any room for another great moderator. I like playing the google Snake game and thought that this community would be perfect for me to moderate. I also think that there should a category for Google Snake Mobile because a lot of people only have their phones to play on and not a computer. I am a really good organizer and problem solver so I think this could be really good for me to do. Thanks, ActuallyElite

you cant play on mobile for the actual leaderboard? idk anyways, im not saying you´re wrong, but if they dont say nothing and in a game like this with the actual cantity of moderators, i dont think they are accepting moderators until they realy look for

There will not be mobile leaderboards, even though the majority of players worldwide are on mobile, they also are not speedrunning and are not recording. The main reason against mobile is that ratios are random and you'd have to create a category for each ratio, plus we don't have all the possible ratios written down anywhere.

If someone REALLY wants mobile to exist THAT bad, they should provide us with all the details end-to-end every possible category that could exist, every ratio, everything. Only then is a leaderboards viable, that or we can slowly "crawl" towards adding each leaderboard ratio one at a time. Not to mention the fact that controls on mobile suck and we won't see any standard or large all apples runs ever for most of the game modes, so a bunch of categories that will be added are going to be useless/empty.

As for being a mod, well I'm not a mod so it's not up to me, but join the discord and chat for a bit, pretty sure commissions are closed.

@ActuallyElite I'm sorry but moderation vacancy is closed and will be closed until something major occurs. Our current team has been doing an excellent job so we are in no need for extra moderators. I hate to put this so bluntly but do not expect yourself to get a moderation role just by asking on a forum thread (especially when your account is only 3 weeks old). As for mobile runs, Yarmiplay explains this very well. It is very hard to create a fair leaderboard if there is so many varying ratios to game boards. Unless you have a solution other than ignoring game board ratios or making a board for every combination, I doubt mobile categories will ever be made. And with this, I will be closing this thread.
