I PB'd in any% today and just as I collected the triple moon from spewart, my stream crasged. The stream came back during the middle of the bowser fight in cloud, i didn't local record either. So if I were to submit both parts would it be accepted as a valid run?

No, I don't think your run is valid if it is not made of one non-spliced segment, especially if a part is missing

If you had several pieces of recording but they were to overlap, so say you started local recording and then 5 seconds later your stream cut off, then it could be verified. If a part of the run is missing, however, it can not really be verified that the run was performed in one part, and thus most popular speedgames are unable to accept the footage

We usually give some leeway when it comes to small cuts (a few seconds), but something like this would definitely be rejected. What Iwer said is correct.
