I think you should be allowed as long as you don't use any ng+ features, but I don't think they allow it

It does say in the rules no extra Weapons/items/options so I wouldn't if I were you

Alas, no because it's an NG+ option.

I'd love to use the NG+ options because for some reason Walk/Run Reverse is an NG+ option but NG+ stuff isn't allowed in NG. Even owning unlockables (you will get one) in NG+ changes up the menu in NG.
