Potential 4 Day Route

Apologies in advance for the huge post lol So currently with the rules for speedrunning this game, there's no way to beat the game in less than 5 days (assuming you're doing a best end category) because on each of the 4 days there's something you need to do that will unlock a new area but you still have to wait until the next day. But while I was screwing around I realized that there is a way to beat the game in 4 days instead of the normal 5 using a certain skip, but it's only possible to do it by quitting out and reloading mid run. If you jump out the window like you would but land in between the Carnival and the building instead of going straight to the Carnival, you can run around the loading zone for the end credits and get to the end of the hallway to the Boiler Room and jump down past the chain link that you'd normally need to clip with the shears that Trencil gives you on Day 2. Once you jump down you can take a picture of Tiff, then quit out to the main menu, and then reload your save, as reloading a save will always spawn you back in your bedroom. Once you've done this, you can go through helping Millie, Trencil, and Ronbo like you normally would, but once Ronbo mentions potentially getting a new picture of her you can immediately give him the picture you took of Tiff, and he'll open up the Carnival on Day 1 instead of Day 2, meaning that Gillis will be available to talk to and cheer up Day 2 instead of Day 3, you can cheer up Lulia Day 2 instead of Day 3, cheer up Kamal Day 3 instead of Day 4, and go face Habit Day 4 instead of Day 5. All told this really only would save about 5-10 seconds judging from my attempts at it so far but I think it's worth mentioning, and even if the rules don't change I think it could be neat to make a new "Four Day" category where you're allowed to do this instead of the usual methods, and I thought I'd share my findings!

Did a full run with this technique, and the time ended up being 19:45 but I chalk that up to my being rusty from not having really run this game in a few months, BUT I found out that with this method, you can actually get back to bed before passing out and skip the extra cutscene that you'd be forced to watch otherwise, meaning that the time lost from quitting to the menu and reloading would be saved by being able to go back to bed on Day 1 and you could actually end up finishing Day 1 ahead of time on the whole, my Day 1 split in this run was a 5:59 instead of the typical 6:02 In addition to this, my split for Day 2 was 11:30, which is 10 seconds faster than my usual split of 11:40 for Day 3 (I did everything needed to be done on both Day 2 and Day 3 normally during Day 2) and is an additional seven seconds saved even when accounting for the time save from Day 1. If this route were allowed by the rules it would save at least 10 seconds on the current World Record of 19:05, and likely more time without mistakes due to being out of practice

Oh one other possible timesave I've found that may not be allowed and I want to double check, I found out by accident that double tapping the Windows button on your keyboard to bring up and then immediately close the Start Menu will instantly skip the broadcasts from Habit, saving about 5 seconds each night over the usual method of holding down space in game. I think this would save about 20 seconds in a 5 day run, or 15 seconds in a 4 day run if they were allowed
