Legend Any points/sections that are italicized are either optimizations for the casual strat, or unique strategies.

Prologue

  • Run to Mike, talk to him
  • Interact w/ SLD-26 Welder from doorway
  • From doorway, interact w/ Mobile Printing Unit (MPU), craft electrical component
  • Interact w/ workbench in lab, place both parts of VERA
  • Interact w/ power source, then toy on laptop, then laptop, then power source, then tablet, then VERA.
  • Run down to the engine room, turn around the rail, fire 2 shots at the blue nodes, reload, fire at the last blue node.
  • When you hear Mike’s line “Almost there!” just after “Yes, keep it up!”, fire 4 shots into the center of the engine
  • Return VERA to equipment room
  • Get to the bridge and sit down
  • After cutscene, run along path to the Pillar
  • As the pillar vanishes, start running backwards towards next objective. After cutscene, keep walking.

Chapter I - Fear Keeps You Sharp

  • Run to the crate ahead of you
  • Spam interact 3x to get the backpack, then 1 more time for the electric cutter
  • Break the vines, you can get one swipe in before the popup
  • Kill 3 Jumpers. Be sure to walk between them, not sprint. Also, you can hit more than 1 enemy per swing. Scan a Jumper for Intelligence
  • Run to the left, cut vines, grab VERA
  • Run back, kill the Scorpiod. You can scan it here, or later.
  • Scan the Sky Fresia plant to unlock Galvanic Extract pickups (VERA Ammo)
  • Run up the path to the gate, shoot 3 blue nodes, run through.
  • Kill 2 Scorpiod, run forward, shoot the Arachnid Exploder (AE). Clean up remaining enemies if needed. Scan AE for intelligence
  • Continue forward, rolling off edges (this is universally a good idea). Take a right at the pillar and follow the path.
  • At the shelter, turn the power on to the left, then to the right open Robinson’s Datapad, rotate it around to grab the Thermic Module. Craft Thermic Charger at MPU. Run back to the pillar, use Thermic Charger to open the gate.
  • Take a left and follow the path. Optionally, grab the Resistance Booster.
  • Kill the Scorpiod, and grab the Knowledge Cube (KC) to the right. If you haven’t yet scanned a Scorpiod, do it here.
  • Kill the rest of the enemies, grab the KC in the middle of the arena, and burn the gate with 2 Thermic shots
  • Past the gate, theres a KC to the left. Grab it and continue right.
  • Grab the ammo cache on the right. Do not forget this one.
  • Before dropping down the ledge, shoot the Scorpiod Egg with the Thermic Charger. Roll down, then kill 2 Scorpiods and 3 Jumpers. Continue.
  • In the Examination Zone, do the following in order. Robinsons Backpack, Boot (right), Handprint (left), Bileworms (left) - then do the AR construct.
  • Head right of the Monolith (big tall structure). Optionally, shoot 3 blue nodes to open the gate.
  • Fight the XYZ - 1 Thermic shot to the weakpoint plus some VERA shots should work.
  • Grab the Poplium fire plant ahead to unlock Thermic ammo, head to the right
  • Kill jumpers with VERA, bait the XYZ near the explosive nest. Fire at it with the Thermic to near instakill. Clean up with VERA if needed, continue down the path and along the frozen surfaces.
  • Kill all enemies along the route, because you’re gonna want the Pillar ahead. Activate Pillar.
  • Head to the big blue beast to start “Extrapolate Conclusion”. Inspect the Mandible first, then do the following for fastest dialog: The Head (top), Cranial Gland (below), Digestive System (bottom), Deutocerebrum (top), Neural Pathways (top right). Extrapolate Conclusion.
  • You have some time before the crafting popup, optionally grab the Healing Stimulant to the left. - Craft Cryo Launcher, shoot lake with it, walk across.Continue to The Alpha fight.
  • Ideally, hit the weakpoint with Thermic Charger, then fire VERA into the mouth. Don’t be afraid to fire VERA even if weakpoint is not visible.
  • scan thingo and grab shield. shoot three eggs first to wake em up, enable the shield, let em shoot
  • make your way across the bloodworms and to next pillar
  • grab battery recharge and head right twice
  • kill enemies including the exo-alluvial
  • grab alien artifact
  • go back and head through the gap in the trees
  • left to arena
  • defeat big fella by running behind him and shooting quick, this is near instakill
  • grab alien artifact & pillar warp
  • kill the two big guys, do puzzle (ZOOSN?)
  • run up and scan bones to unlock fiber
  • move forward and kill things, up through storm
  • activate pillar
  • skip cutscene and kill the alluvial king
    • stand on the small land strip to avoid blood worms the best and cryo right and left when necessary
    • dodge to avoid attacks
  • interact, skip cutscene

Chapter II - The Fallen

  • scan the guy, craft flammable liquid
  • do tutorial. you can throw the liquid before the popup
  • grab KC and some ammo on the left of the exit and exit
  • run straight down, skip cutscene, keep movin up, skip cutscene
  • grab the KC on the right
  • run through to cave, get pillar, attempt to dodge past big dudes
  • continue up left (can burn behind you)
  • before gap grap KC on left, then continue down path
  • grab KC next to bridge, activate bridge, continue through gap to the larger plains
  • activate protection and run through dogs
  • skip cutscene
  • get holo lure and craft, do tutorial
  • left until "Crash site..." then right, right, into arena
  • kill things!! blood
  • go through gap and hug right until pipe
  • grab KC to the right of the pipe exit and go straight

(Hermes)

  • code on left, 062010

  • laptop -> audio log
  • mike -> log on the left, wound in upper torso, heart
  • examine and extrapolate conclusion
  • leave and hang right

Chapter III - In Blood

  • run up, activate pillar, grab KC on the right then the other KC a bit further up
  • walk up to door, skip cutscene, craft component, pillar warp
  • run down the slope and to the ice area
  • kill scorpoid and grab KC on lake and near box
  • break the ice and climb
  • kill things and run up, dont die (there is a gap)
  • activate door and run through, skip cutscene
  • go back and run past big guy, grab two KCs on the way up
  • hang a right, grab two more KCs
  • at the end of the slope, kill dudes and hang left, then right at the bottom
  • scan bush for knowledge, right at T
  • deal with things via lake, grab power source
  • scan ripper (dog) for knowledge
  • scan cryo egg for knowledge
  • head back up and activate thing
  • do puzzle, run up left side and go across
  • hang a left and open door with power source
  • left up stairs and kill the guy
  • grab KC
  • go to device to extrapolate
  • scan main part, then bottom left, then middle, then top left, then right
  • craft gravity trap, can throw before popup
  • scan guy for points
  • go up right side kill guys
  • gravity, scan the dispenser on the right, run through the lasers
  • grab power source and head outside, scanning the guys as you come back
  • get power source from the outside
  • kill/scan big dude and activate the gate with the power sources
  • run through straight, kill AEs
  • head right side, grab KC i think
  • kill dudes with lake, head through gap
  • grab KC and activate pillar
  • construct 1 fight, gravity ball and spam lake
  • skip cutscene and run through hole
  • activate pillar and head right, scan flying dudes grab KC on the right side
  • head through gap, kill guy by spamming icicles, head through gap
  • run right up mountain and fall, kill AEs and run up killin sorcpoids, run up to cutscene
  • left up mountain

  • run into cave and kill both
  • head through gap
  • lower gate and grab KCs

Chapter IV - The Code of Life AAAAAHAHHHH I CANT BELIEVE ITS ONLY CHAPTER FOUR

  • run, grab KC on right before elevator, then elevator
  • activate door on left via vera
  • take out power source, activate first elevator
  • grab KC on left, then head right
  • over bridge, grab KC on left then head right and activate pillar
  • continue straight and grab source, activate vator
  • across bridge, kill guy, up vator
  • left, scan new spider, scan cannon
  • KC on left before bridge, head across and grab source then activate the left vator via gun
  • grab power source on left and activate bridge, run acrposs and grab source and come back
  • grab other source, activate other vator via gun
  • go down vator and activate sources
  • take a deep breath
  • go through and up vator, activate transit system control
  • grab KC behind it
  • run through to cutscene(s)
  • go left during dialogue and grab KC, grab KC at back, then go to right and grab other KC
  • run through door activate cutscene/dialogue
  • go straight and down vator, grab KC on right
  • shoot cannons, grab power source
  • activate dialogue, activate power, do puzzle
  • number the tubes as they are 1-4 left to right
    • move 4 up one
    • move 2 up one
    • move 3 left one
    • move 1 into where 3 began
    • then move 4 to the end
  • get power source, get sample
  • activte console with ssample
  • down vator through door
  • two KCs on left, straight, then KC on left, and dialogue
  • door on right, two KCs, then through door

Chapter V - A Scarred Mind

  • pillar, healing injection on right
  • straight, then up on left side with spiders to grab KC
  • continue, KC on right
  • kill fellas and continue
  • continue kill scary then scan
  • pillar (on right) and continue through gap (straight), grab KC

  • up slope on left/front, get Kc
  • gap once dialogue finishes

  • interact
  • go other way, kill guy, go gap

  • go through right path (KC)
  • scan for knowledge, activate protection
  • kill monster and scan
  • cannons, XYZ
  • enter the access code 31 (down two), 23 (down four), 12 (up one)
  • activate door, KC, kill things and go back to main door

  • head right and up, KC, drop down to node
