That’s called transaction cancel and it can be done for any camera cutscene. Be my guests and use it for WR. It just is annoying to set up constantly

Could I start it after the run has begun because for me I still think it would save time.

you can start the transaction after the run starts, runners like speedrun do it in their runs (phantom skateboard glitch or whatever the hell its called)
