In the long run if this is consistent I wonder if it even saves time. If you've still got to get back out of bounds to get back into thit house then it doesn't work, unless you stay out of bounds the whole time in which case you don't need to get back in bounds.

Then we come to the question: Is it faster to do the whole out of bounds and grab the crow key then go back for the dog heads?

I'm going to do some testing to see if o can replicate this, then test if it's even possible to get into the main house after grabbing the key and finally is it faster to do it the vanilla route or this route.

Either way nice find, it's a step in the OOB category being real

i get the impression this would just softlock the game because you wouldn't be able to trigger the series of events necessary to get the lamp off Margaret and thus, the Arm.

Still, there's probably something useful in all of that.

That too, the amount of soft locks in this game is ludicrous

Hello everyone, first of all thank you for your answer, I did another test and the game does not trigger some scene, but if later a speedrenne manages to exploit this oob I would be delighted.

has anyone actually try saving then retrying after u save? Just a thought, probably already done but everytime i see people pop back into bound no one attempts that

Saving doesn't fix it, of course that has been tried.

A lot of the sequencing in this game is very strict.

Getting items out of order usually results in a soft lock, like someone has tried to get the Red Keycard early and then continue with their run to which the game softlocked at the TV scene with Lucas.

lots of sequence and possibility has been tested with this oob.

This will not work because of locking next quest.

The only possible use i see (with no quest locking) , it's when you are in lucas building to be able to pass the test room and get directly to jack final boss.

Anyway, i've tested SO MANY way to go oob in this area without any chance.
