1. About the game control... Is console controller better than using keyboard and mouse while doing speedrun?

2. About game mode... There is No Merchant speedrun yet. I think it is really difficult and I am wondering whether it is really possible. It is because we only got the starting handgun, the shotgun in 1-1 and the Butterfly in the castle. (maybe a rocket launcher but it seems that we don't have enough space in the case)

1. I would say use controller, based on my personal preference.

The only person to run the game with Mouse and Keyboard is thepsychoripper, so if you want to know about the pros and cons of that, ask him.

In theory, key board and mouse is faster. Key words here being ¤in theory¤ because for it to actually be faster would require a total mastery over that control setting which to date, no one has ever done. Controller has proven more efficient simply due to being easier to control

I would recommend using a controller, the game was basically meant to be played with a pad anyway. But it's okay using a mouse.

No merchant is actually a challenge run, nobody has routed it in the speedrun way yet.
