Hi guys just curious i was watching the WR run for Leon B NG+ on console and spotted an odd cut at 23:31 it skipped from the elevator at the end of alligator fight to the start of Adas section randomly and was just wondering if there was any reason for it.

I heard that on PS4, the video capture cuts out if you get a message or something while playing. I donno for sure though as I just play PC. Either way though, this run should be removed. I wonder if the people uploading know their vods are missing chunks and are just trying to pull a fast one. WR's will always get called out because they are the ones watched the most.

its xbox one it was really odd as from what i can tell its only maybe 5-10 seconds at most thats been cut it seems almost pointless in my eyes. As for the capture specifics i wouldn't know since i play on PC too just watching that for different routing possibilities.

chances are he didn't even know about the chunk missing and is probably going to be pissed that it invalidates the run. If he was trying to split the run, surely he would have tried harder. But he has live split and stuff which means he's capturing using a PC so I donno if you can blame the console here.

this chunk is missing from his twitch vod too.

i figure its best to bring it up anyway even if he was maybe just cutting out a pause or something and cut too much or if its just a recording glitch if it slips past it could open the door for more abuse with cutting so best to take action now and hey there's no reason he couldn't get another run just as good or even better.

Yeah this was my run. Not really sure what has caused this. It’s even weirder that it happened even on the Twitch Vod. I have a hard recording of it so I’ll see if it cuts there too

Ok I got it. Whenever I stream a run and its a good time, I export it to Youtube from Twitch. Must have dropped bandwith in that time somewhere on the stream. There is no cut on that section on the straight Elgato recording. Its always good to do that so you have a backup in case something like this happens, so ill upload the elgato recording and resubmit, thanks for the people pointing that out. -Jud

i thought it was weird that it was also missing from the twitch vod. Good thing you have the direct recording.

@Jud if you want to let me know when you have it submitted again, I'd be happy to prioritize verification for you. That's good advice to the community, by the way. I always try to encourage people to record + stream in case there's a twitch hiccup.

@Jud do you have the direct recording for your Claire NG+ WR? at 48:16 the video freezes for a few seconds and looks like frames are missing. I would just upload your direct recordings.

I experience no freezing at 48:16. Watched from 47:16 to 49:16.

weird, it does it for me on iframe on the site and on twitch. I refreshed several times and ctrl+f5. maybe ill restart my browser

@CursedToast I restarted browser, also tried it in chrome AND on mobile and it pauses.

If it's just me, I apologize, but that seems unlikely now.

I just watched it and I didn't get a freeze there. It plays fine.

Oh ok I think I see. I did see a slight pause at 48:18 (just as they go through the door). Could be my internet though. It's forcing me to stream this at 720p and my internet doesn't like that.
