Yup, it's possible 60 FPS will get 3x its current runners to catch up and overtake 120 FPS. If that happens, then 60 will become the default. It's always going to be whichever is most popular.

i vote yes. As it stands, there's no point running 60 except for the people forced to do so and since 120fps have advantage with knife over 60, it makes no sense to have them on the same board.
