i've been speedrunning leon a now, but at the end of the attempts i keep getting killed by Birkin. this happened 10 times in a row (no joke)

i ran to His right side and stood on the "p" and shot until he transformed, (no damage taken)

then he jumped on the thing, then he jumped at me and as soon as he attacked me, he did a wall jump and landed on me and i died again.

is this wall jump a glitch? he sort of gets stuck on the wall for a few seconds, i have the footage but it's of the entire speedrun so you will need to skip to the end.

Unfortunately Loanshark that jump wall-hang he does isn't a glitch :/ it's part of his normal moveset. When I usually see it goes something like this (has happened 3 times in a row bc I suck...lol) I run up to G3 and shoot him 3 times but the third always comes too late for some reason. So he's already mid-attack animation, and unlike other bosses he doesn't get stunned, his attack carries through and I have to unload an extra shot to make him transfrom (keep in mind I play US version, so it only takes me 3 shots, not 4.)

Because of my placement after being attacked he NEVER jumps on top of thw damn tubes lately. He jumps to the wall (almost directly above my head) and bounces off it to land on my other side. He never hits me on the way down, although he has before! Luckily, after these "wall-jumps" he has a tendency to sit there turning slowly, which allows me to get off a ton of shots.

So you're saying from the P you just move forward one step? I thought you had to move all the way in front of the tubes to keep him up there?

I figured it out today Viixie, thanks for the help, worked like a charm. :D I made a Lab save so I could just run it over and over to get it right instead of only getting practice at the tail end of an actual run hahaha.

I recommend making a "Lab Save" to practice the final section. Next time you make it to the lab, right after you put Ada on the couch save and just practice the Lab from there over and over. It helped me alot.
