A guide on how to get good at SBB

A Shortcut Guide (Barrel Boardwalk)

At the beginning of the race, you will see that to your right, there is a wall. Jump over the walls twice to take a corner cut.
Difficulty: ★

After the first shortcut, take the red boost on the left side of the track, then don't fall down and instead go on the top route and hit all 3 boost pads.
Difficulty: ★

After the red boosts, there is a difficult shortcut which requires jumping up the wall to your left, which is very difficult, but doesn't save much time. You want to jump onto the design that pokes out on the wall. You want to jump up the wall and use the designs that poke out as platforms, then jump over the wall. If you can't do this in 3 or less jumps then it is not worth it to go for.

Difficulty (2 Jumps): ★★★★★

After the previous shortcut, you want to head to the blue boost, and approach the ramp  with the boosts on the very right. You want to hit the red boost at the very right, then turn to hit the yellow boost in the middle of the next platform. After that platform you go to the very right of that platform and launch off of the yellow boost and land on the red boost on the platform in the direction of the boost. If you hit the red boost on the very right side of the platform, you will need to shift a bit to the left to not fall off while landing. After that you will hit the red boost that is on the right side of the next turn to finish the lap.
Difficulty: ★★★

A Shortcut Guide (Clockwork Canyon)

In the first part after the first yellow booster, there is a set of gears that you need to jump onto and run across. Difficulty: ⭐

On the part after the clock section, you can jump onto the side of the platform, jump onto the bridge, and go right while holding jump against the railing to land on the higher level faster. Difficulty: ⭐⭐⭐

On the part after the split, there is a section where you can jump onto a gear and jump to the next platform in between a path. You can jump over this and land on the other side and not touch the gear. Difficulty: ⭐

One the part with the loop, take the red pad and jump into the giant birdhouse straight ahead, and hit the yellow booster inside of it. Difficulty: ⭐

A Shortcut Guide (Glass Houses)

At the first turn, you will jump over the small patch of grass on the right side, taking the turn tight, and then going to the left side of the track and go off the red boost.
Difficulty: ★

While entering the section before the glass house, you want to cut off some road by going to the right and cutting off the dirt, this dirt will not slow down your marble so you will not need to jump over it. You then want to continue into the glass house, and time a jump to hit the top of the slope to get the most speed, and jump over the grass.
Difficulty: ★★

A bit after the previous shortcut, at the u-turn you can either jump over the grass or jump onto the trees, which is a bit tricker than just jumping over the grass, but saves more time.

At the final turn of the course, you will need to take a sharp turn to go in-between the pillars that keep the glass tunnel up and the wall, while jumping over the grass.

A Shortcut Guide (McManor)

When you get to the part with the water, go in the water and hit the boost closest to the tunnel, and go through the tunnel.
Difficulty: ★

When you get out of the tunnel, go off the first yellow boost ramp, then jump when you hit the ground and go into the part with the red boosts.
Difficulty: ★★

A Shortcut Guide (North Palace)

At the start of the race, you want to go on the boost to your right, and go up the thin ramp ahead of it, you will want to jump up it, and land in the red boost. When you just go in the tunnel you want to jump to get extra speed off of the slope.
Difficulty: ★★

After the turn proceeding the previous shortcut, on the u-turn, you want to hit the white wall ahead that slightly pokes out to take the turn better. If you want to, you can jump and hit the corner that pokes out to get an extra speed boost.
Difficulty (No jump): ★
Difficulty (Jump): ★★★

After going down the slope after taking a turn after exiting the palace, you will see a platform a bit to the right of the bridge. You will want to jump late off of the main road to jump on the platform, then jump from the top left corner of the platform onto the bridge.
Difficulty: ★★

At the end of the map, right after the bridge, there is a platform to the right which you can jump on to to take a corner cut. You will want to jump on it then quickly jump off back onto the main road. If you are on the final lap, you can stay more closer to the bridge edge, then jump off close to the edge and go straight forwards to hit the finish line.

A Shortcut Guide (Palm Top-Pier)

At the beginning of the race, you want to take a corner cut and jump over the corner and preferably land on the slope that is raised on the wall. After landing you want to jump again to get over the rocks or the water, jump once more to land on the raised platform on the very left, and when you hit the red boost jump off of the red boost to take a corner cut.
Difficulty: ★★

When you get to the sand part, you want to take the 2nd boost on the left, and then take a sharp right turn to hit the red boost to the right, and go through the boost chain until it ends then turn to the left and hit the boost closest to you, and then jump early to hit the red boost to end the lap.
Difficulty: ★

A Shortcut Guide (Pipe Nightmares)

At the start, you want to go straight forwards until the red boost. When you reach the red boost you want to use it. After using the boost and landing on the ground, you want to go straight forwards until you reach the next boost and repeat. You will have to go straight forwards to reach the finish line the quickest, which is very important to this map as there is not much difficulty to it.
Difficulty: get good wifi lol

A Shortcut Guide (Roblox Circuit)

At the start, aim for near the statue. Then jump. Jump again to go faster down the hill. Cut the corner and hit the speed boost. Hit the wall of the tunnel and cut the turn after the tunnel. Jump over 2 walls and combine it with the mushroom shortcut. Jump once you hit the boost and cut the last corner.

A Shortcut Guide (Shedletsky's Castle)

At the first turn, you will take the turn, then after, you quickly want to jump and turn to your left, to land on a platform. Continue on the platform until the end and jump off of it.
Difficulty: ★

After the first shortcut in the stair part, there are many different ways to do this shortcut, but I will only name one. The mostly used strategy is to jump on the thin rail and take precise jumps to cut the corner of the stairs.
Difficulty: ★★★

After you leave the castle, you want to take tight turns and jump over the bushes as a corner cut.
Difficulty: ★

A Shortcut Guide (Teapot Circuit)

After going off the red boost ramp near the beginning, you want to go in the grass and jump in it to not lose any speed. The tighter you take the turn, the more time you will cut off, which is a big factor in getting a good time in teapot circuit. Go out of the grass a bit before you're going to go down the ramp.
Difficulty: ★★

After going down the ramp from the previous shortcut, you want to head straight, and again go in the grass while holding down jump. Make sure to not hit the tree, which will happen when you go too far to the right.
Difficulty: ★

After going under the tunnel, at the u-turn, you want to finally again, hold jump while taking a tight turn in the grass, exit the grass when the grass patch ends.
Difficulty: ★★

A Shortcut Guide (Tomb Ruins)

If you're a beginner, you might not know all the best strats in SBB. This is a beginner's guide to Tomb Ruins!

Beginning Shortcut: As you start the race, head to the left side of the right pillar. This will lead you straight to the most useful shortcut in this track. As you are near the corner of the pillar, jump then immediately jump 2 times to get you back on the track. This saves about 6 seconds compared to the normal path lines.
Difficulty: ★★★


Inside The Tomb (Over the black pit): Inside the tomb, there is a black pit. Jump over it right as you get to the very edge. If you want to do the right side of the pillar in this shortcut, you want to be more precise as entering the tomb means you have little time to execute the shortcut. Both sides lead straight into another shortcut.
Left Side Difficulty: ★★
Right Side Difficulty: ★★★★★


Inside The Tomb (Over the sand pile right side): This shortcut is easier if you did the right side in the previous shortcut because it brings nice angle for the shortcut. This shortcut is all about timing. As you head up the stairs after the black pit, jump at the very last step. If failed, you will either hit the sand pile if you didn't jump or you will be launched straight into the air. Hitting the pillar at the end of the shortcut gives you a nice angle for the end, but you will lose some time.

Inside The Tomb (Over the sand pile left side): This shortcut is easier if you did the left side in the previous shortcut because it brings nice angle for the shortcut. Aim for the gap next to the 2 pillars in the wall. Jump as soon as you land and jump again once you hit the ground. If you didn't jump for the 1st time you will hit the wall losing all your momentum. If you didn't jump the 2nd time you will lose your momentum at the sand pile.

Pyramid Corner Cut: Jump right as you are about to hit the corner of the pyramid. And aim for the corner of the left pillar to start the beginning shortcut for lap 2.
Difficulty: Easy

How to CORRECTLY being able to play Pipe Nightmare and Checkpoint Chaos ? 

Little guide to explain how to play those 2 maps even tho they're removed in 2023 without any physic changes. This will probably be removed when this information is added to the rule (if it happens).

To play those 2 maps, join sbb but with 1 lap : https://www.roblox.com/games/6036925121/Super-Blocky-Ball-but-with-1-lap . Sadly private servers are not free on this spin off but that's the only spin off that don't change physics and that has those 2 maps.

How to do a low boost jump

This is part of the new SBB physics.
The boost jump will shave time off your runs.
This is a strategy that is very easy to learn but hard to master.

Q: Where will it work?
A: On ramps with boosts on it.
Q: How many jumps does it take?
A: 2
Q: How do you pull it off?
A: I will tell you in a second.
Q: Is the second over yet?
A: YES! I'm trying to do a guide here.

Ok so, say for example on McManor, you jump to get on the boost and as soon as you hit the boost you jump. It's that simple but timing is KEY to this.

A: Yes, but make it quick.
Q: Is it recommended?
A: Depends on your skill level. If you are a beginner, don't do it as if you fail, you will lose time by jumping. If you are a pro with a really good personal best, go for it!

How To Equip Marbles

In the game, you can unlock marbles by playing in different races and exploring them!
Ever wanted to know HOW you can play as them marbles? Well here's how!
1.) Go to Super Blocky Ball
2.) Click the Menu button
3.) Click Marble Skins
4.) Select the marble you want to select.
5.) Press X at the top of the marble selection or press B on the Xbox controller.

How To Spectate

This guide will show you how to spectate other players! If you have finished a race or not racing!
1.) Go to Super Blocky Ball
2.) Finish a race or turn Racing Off (Makes sure you won't lose the race)
3.) Go to Menu
4.) Click Spectate
5.) To spectate another player, click the same button again.
6.) To stop spectating, click Stop Spectating.

How To Turn Music Off

This is how to turn the music off in SBB. Turning the music off will turn off all music including the lobby, the SFX and the race.
1.) Go to SBB
2.) Click Menu
3.) Click Music ''On'' ----> Music ''Off''

How To Turn Racing Off

This is how you turn racing off in SBB!
1.) Go to Super Blocky Ball
2.) Click Menu
3.) Click Racing so it turns Off
While racing is turned off, you will be in the lobby. And you can't play races until you turn it back on. It's like an AFK button. You could also use it to just watch other players full race. If you turn racing off during a race, it sends you to the lobby and you will not appear on the race times for that race in the server.

How To Use Marble Effects

Want to use marble effects for your marble? Well, this guide will show you how!
1.) Make sure you have 10 robux or more in your account
2.) Go to Super Blocky Ball
3.) Click Menu
4.) Click Marble Effects
5.) Click on a marble effect that you want and that you can afford.
(Some marble effects might be impossible to obtain for robux)

Super Blocky Ball (How to always get 1st place)

How to start: Start at the very back of the box. Then at the second, go forward. While everyone is building up their speed, you will take 1st place with more speed building up!
(With the exception of Rock Oasis. Just do it when necessary)

Red Boosts: Faster than the yellow boosts. Rarer then yellow boosts.
Blue Boosts: The fastest boosts in the game. But the most rare.

What NOT to do in Super Blocky Ball

This is what NOT to do in Super Blocky Ball. This will effect your race times and maybe stop you from getting 1st place.
- Take every speed boost
- Always jump
- Shortcuts that are actually slower
- Bumping into too many walls
- Not getting the correct start
- Using Roblox Recorder (Lags your game)
- Bad Internet
- Chatting during the race
- Activating the most laggy marble
- Holding the S key aswell as the W key.
- Fail Shortcuts
- Raging (Causes more pressure in your emotional state making it harder to get a PB)
- Not taking breaks

What to do(All maps)

Here is how to do better at maps

Tomb Ruins:don't use that diahonal yellow boost,and speed off the pyramid

Roblox Circuit:jump on top of the 2 gray walls

McManor:enter the ''mini maze'',and go the bottom part of the bridge

Teapot Circuit:just don't jump or bump on the walls,and get lucky

Stunt Stadium:don't take the ''shortcut'' at the end

Barrel Boardwalk:go the top way,both times

Glass Houses:go mini tower and open window shortcut

North Palace:go top way and do the shortcuts

Shedletsky's Castle:just be good,and don't don't be like miccley

Blazing Mountain:Do some frame perfect boost related stuff

Clockwork canyon:take the 4 shortcuts,and hit as few gears as possible

Rock Oasis:go the shorter ways

Slime factory:do paint skip

Palm Top Pier and Coastal Cove:i suck at them soooo no

Desert Dunes:go on the nearer side to the pyramid

Dizzy volcano:do well all along

Pipe*Pipe:Dizzy volcano

Tiki Temple:Don't hit walls or anything like that

TTR:Go red boost and don't hit pyramids

Checkerpoint Chaos:u can't jump anymore so just run

Pipe nightmares:just go and get a 12.232

Checker Cliffs:Learn with imorecheese

Springrock Steep:do the skip(use the boosts on the start to skip a part of the map for lap 1)
