Hey everyone,

For about the past 2 years, since this speedrun was made and verified, one of the categories that was introduced to this was the all difficulties% categories for only the Desert Temple and Winter Outpost. There were a few rules that explained the category and now I'm here to clarify through a guide to make it easier for those planning to speedrun this category.

How to start the speedrun.

1. To begin speedrunning the category, it is recommended to download livesplit that will help list and keep track of the time entirely along with the splits being used for timing methods. Sure there are a few other speedrun timers that you can use; but I will be listing this one as a reference in use for splits.io which is a website that you can go if you want that keeps track of all the times list in speedrun games. 2. Once you have extracted the files through a separate folder or using 7-zip; simply open up the livesplit.exe file to run the app. It will only show the timer on the screen at first, by you can edit and add the splits. Right click on the timer will bring up a popup and you have to click the edit splits button. Once you are on the page, you can press the insert above/below to add a new timer split. After that, you will click on the game name and the category that you will be running.

3. If you are running other categories, go to the additional info tab that will showcase all of the subcategories being added to the speedrun. Go to the Desert Temple or Winter Outpost to select the all difficulties categories listed down below.

4. As an optional preference, right-click on the timer to bring up the settings tab and make sure to just have global hotkeys enabled to make pressing the timer easier and make sure you run the application in administrator mode.

Timing Methods

Rules for this category are provided in the game rules section listed below.

• If you're playing on All Diffculties%; the difficulty must be displayed first and on the last difficulty you played on, after the final hit on the boss.

• Any order of difficulty does not matter.

• After completing one difficulty, any loading transitions will not be timed.

• Runs can only be verified if recorded fully. (From the loading screen of the respective dungeon to receiving the loot drops).

As for the timing methods on how this will work, timer will work just like all other regular runs that begin on the first frame when the start text screen flashes up and the final time ends on the last hit of the final boss. The timer will not count if the screen fully transitions into black after finishing one difficulty, and loading transitions. The timer will resume once the start text flashes after the timer. Like all other runs, all difficulties% will have a skill point limit of either 27 or 55 if you are running Desert Temple or Winter Outpost and using only gear for either of the two maps. This will not apply to the plus category as with the other + categories being listed.
