Hello, I use Livesplit 1.8.16 to measure my times in Portal and Half-Life 2, decided to try Portal 2 but under Auto Splitting I have (By Nekz and mlugg) which doesn't work. Was hoping to use Fatalis as I do in other games but I don't see option to change it anywhere. If I change the script path to LiveSplit.SourceSplit.dll, nothing changes. It needs asl file but I don't have any sourcesplit asl files. Should I use older version of Livesplit for Portal 2 or something? Thanks

Do you have SAR(source auto record) installed? If not than both of those methods won’t work.

To install SAR go to the resources page and download it.

Then you want to open up steam>go to portal 2>press the gear icon>properties>local files>browse>portal2 and place SAR there

Now once you open the game all you have to do is type “pluggin_load sar” in the developer console and everything should be good.
