Hi all,

Recently I bought a new computer which is much better than my old one, however i'm experimenting lag spikes sometimes (this didn't occur whit the older one). I tried with full screen, windowed mode and changing the settings a bit, however anything solves the problem.

Drivers are all up to date. One thing I notice is that geforce experience don't detect the game.

Anyone has any idea about what can be causing this? I didn't have max FPS set, and in the screen it shows 299 almost all the time.

This is my last vod: (i don't know if I can make a clip) around 1:28:35 when i'm falling you can see it.

I'm working right now, if you need the computer specifications i will post them.

Does this happen when obs isn't recording/streaming?

Was your older computer using a different version of windows?

Thanks for your replies, I will try to make a run without OBS, but I think that it was happening too, (i made 1 or 2 in the past).

Yes, I'm using same version. W10

have you tried setting portal (aka hl2.exe) to a higher cpu priority? That fixed 99.9% of lags for me.
