Interesting, is there any information on how to actually do this? Because this seems off to me otherwise.

You just place your mouse on a 1-pixel wide seam, where the detain button would usually be (The button is hidden but there is still a 1 pixel hitbox). Nothing else you need to do, just hit the right spot and detain him fast enough, you have about a 2 second time window

I tried it and it worked!
