1 Warp Route

-1 WARP-

As a reminder to those who want to run this category (or those who are too lazy to read the rules), you can only use 1 warp cannon, while other secret exits are freely allowed. The fastest cannon is the one accessed by the 1-3 Secret Exit.

If you want backup propellers during your run, the mushroom houses in Worlds 1, 5, and 6 guarantee at least 1 propeller suit and the one in World 7 guarantees 2. Visiting these is useful [Patterns listed here: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/wii/960544-new-super-mario-bros-wii/map/6629?raw=1] in case you take damage and the next backup propeller is several stages away. This is recommended to players starting with this category or any longer category that visits multiple worlds, although 1 Warp is a shorter category that shouldn’t rely on visiting mushroom houses as much as longer categories that visit more houses with better patterns like Cannonless or  100%.

* 5-3 can be up to 5 seconds faster [depends on strats that you use] but significantly harder. Additionally, it has a singular backup propeller that is in a roulette block, in case you don't want to have to reset.*

If the number of times you have died before this point if either 0 or 3, the vines will block your way to 5-Castle. If they do block your path, it is fastest to go int 5-5 and intentionally die at the start. Once the vines do not block off access to 5-Castle, proceed.

• It is important that you have propeller suit entering 6-Airship, because it is used to speed up the second Bowser Jr. fight significantly by simply not boarding the clown car and simply fight him similarly to the fight in World 4. *

10 Hint Movies Route

Get every star coin in every level you play except for 2 star coins which adds up to 37. I practiced on world 1, and I skipped
1-4 #2/3 because I didn't want an ice flower. Also, 1-5 #2 and 1-Castle #3 are slowish. One idea for one we skip is 3-1 #2.

Notes: Any time a movie requires a certain number of star coins to show up, you have to beat its respective level. We skip a movie that only requires 25 star coins to show up in 2-6 because it costs 10 star coins to purchase.

All power-ups route

(The route may get changed due to discoveries)
In 1-1 you need to collect the first Mushroom in the highest question block near the start of the level because you cant collect the checkpoint and it doesn't count as a power-up despite giving you the ability. After getting the checkpoint (you can get the checkpoint but it doesn't count as a mushroom) you can get a propeller in the question block.

In 1-2 right before the checkpoint you need to ground pound into the cluster of brick-blocks, and hit the brick-block closest to the checkpoint (If your confused about this, see the WR video)

For the end strategy, Beat 5-1 -> die in 5-1 -> defeat the piranha plant -> Get the fire flower, ice flower, penguin suit, and get the mini in the toad house -> equip all of those
