The game is heavily based on movement techs, so you should be familiar and master the main abilities - running, wall-jump, and double jump.

Running The first important skill you will get, making you faster obviously. However, while holding the run button, the game might feel like "walking on ice" - You have higher momentum, stopping in precise position is harder, precise platforming sections become way worse, and you might hug walls by mistake (when you have the wall-jump ability, it will slow you down).

It is important to know when to run and when not to - when you stop running, it kills your momentum completely, and some sections in the game are just easier without it (level 10 climb without double jump, for example).

Wall jumps The second important skill, letting you reach higher places. You can do a wall-jump on the same wall, running is required. It is however always faster to climb by chaining wall-jumps on parallel walls.

Double jump Where the real action begins. It has some good uses other than just jump a little higher:

Change momentum while in the air - the second jump stops your momentum completely, so you can use that to stop in a certain position in the air, or move to the other direction immediately if you are running. It can save you in certain places if you make a mistake.

Faster single wall jump - while chaining parallel wall jumps is the fastest way to climb, it may be easier to climb on a single wall while running, and jumping again while in the air towards the same wall.
