so i was watching Keverage's run of 32 tracks and i noticed that the load times between races are significantly faster by a good second or two. this could be a problem for people lie me trying to do runs but their time is hindered by longer load times (don't get me wrong, even if i had no load times, keverage would still destroy me). i couldn't think of a simple way for comprimising these load times, but i'm just putting it out there.
the had way would be to erase saved data every time you do a run. then do the run in GP mode, then add up the IGT. i know that allot of runners will nto be willing to delete ther saved data every time tough, so this is not an option for most. (also those who use the dry bomber in their runs will have to unlock it every time) althogh i do not think that the rules should change to this however
but not for versus races, unless people will be willing to record the time of each race as they go
Can you make a video comparing both load times? Someone else also said this to me a few months back, but back then when I tested it it was the same loading time for me.
ok, here it is (my freeind DDos-DAN sis this for me): overall the load times save around 35 seconds throughout the whole run. not minutes and not affecting the 32 track wr, but if someoen were to attempt teh individual cups on wii u vs, they would get an easy 4 seconds.
Yep, I just checked mission mode and there's a huge difference. Thing is, there isn't really anything we can do, especially in mission mode. We could however split the categories into DS and WiiU, but since the leaderboards aren't that big I don't know if that's the right decision.
The simple thing to do would be to cut 2 minutes from the d's time in missions, but I already said dw, so I reckon u just leave it
It would be possible to make all the miscellaneous categories go off the in game time. That way load times can be avoided and new runners would be able to put in runs quicker (if they already have runs). I know I said I was done with load times, but there is a (hopefully) easy way around it this time.
