[New] Good Ending Speedrun Route

This guide is meant to explain the most optimal order of events in the game to achieve good ending. The times listed at the events are only there as a rough estimate, as your pace dictates when you arrive at places. Instances where we have to work around strict timing, I've noted them. **If you lost time compared to the guide, don't follow the exact amount of hours to sleep, just use common sense and follow the rough timing estimates.**

This guide assumes you have played the game before and know how to do events. This is in no way a detailed walkthrough.

The guide is still WIP and will get updated later.

Saturday is a bit tricky to make ends meet optimally. Basically you have to make it work for yourself. There are a few options on the table depending on your time.

Options:
a) If your clock is at xx:05 to around xx:30, you can sleep until 8:05-8:30AM, and just about still catch Mogan, before he leaves from the forest. James will be in his office if you do it this way. If you are a bit early, James will not have gone back into his office. If you are too late, Mogan would have gotten up for his 10 minute in-game walk into the forest at 9:30, before he turns around and you can catch him from around 9:40 to 9:48 as he walks to his car. (If you have the ORB glitch however, you can simply walk into the forest to talk to him, however I'd not trust a glitch to happen consistently)

II) If your clock is at around xx:31 to xx:41, you can sleep until 8:31-8:41AM, and just about still catch Mogan as he is walking to his car from 9:40 to around 9:48. If you are closer to 30 than 40, you may have to wait a tiny bit for mogan to come back out of the forest. Thankfully in this instance, you can still talk to Mogan while he is on the move. When you get back to the hospital, James will be in his office.

3) If your clock is none of the above, you'll have to decide if you want to wait for James or hunt down Mogan at the police station. But at least your run is not over, you'll just lose some time as it won't be the most optimal outcome.

Now the tricky part about this, is that they have set schedules and if your time is off, you'll have to wait, or worst case scenario hunt down Mogan somewhere in town to talk to him.
James schedule: available in his office from 8:00 to 8:50 (then he gets up for a break in the lobby and only gets up to go back at 9:20)
Mogan schedule: at 7:40 he gets up from the diner and goes to the forest entrance. He gets there at around 8:20.
It takes 18 minutes to get to ORB/Mogan at the forest.

Good Ending Glitched Speedrun Route

This guide is meant to explain the most optimal order of events in the game to achieve bad ending. The times listed at the events are only there as a rough estimate, as your pace dictates when you arrive at places. Instances where we have to work around strict timing, I've noted them. If you lost time compared to the guide, don't follow the exact amount of hours to sleep, just use common sense and follow the rough timing estimates.

This guide assumes you have played the game before and know how to do events. This is in no way a detailed walkthrough.

The guide is still WIP and will get updated later.

step 2: the instant you get control of matt, spam start to teleport
step 3: drive back to matts house (left, right right)
step 4: enter matts backyard and pet the dog (required)
step 5: sleep many times
after 9ish minutes of sleeping over and over again, the game should be finished.

What console to use?

While every console, that can play PS1 games, so PS1, PS2 or PS3 will work, PS2s will play the game the fastest, due to the fast disc speed option in the main menu. Playing the game on PS3 is not recommended, as that usually loads games even slower than a PS1.

Not all PS2s are created equal, however. During all the cost cutting measures when making the first slim PS2s, Sony decided to remove the PS1's CPU from the console, which provided I/O handling and PS1 playback for backwards compatibility. Starting with the SCPH-75000 line of slim PS2s, a new chip, nicknamed the Deckard IOP takes over this function. This chip has many compatibility issues with PS1 games, however it renders many PS1 games, including Mizzurna Falls, at a much higher, more playable framerate. This saves a not insignificant amount in a game of such lengths.

This means any console starting from SCPH-75000 all the way up to the last SCPH-90000 batch will grant you the improved framerates and funny music as a side effect.

PS2 slim models:
SCPH-70000 (original PS1 cpu, slow)
SCPH-75000 (Deckard IOP from here on out)
SCPH-77000
SCPH-79000
SCPH-90000 (internal power supply)

Worst Ending Speedrun route

After skipping the tutorial, tap R1/R2 and O to get out of the police station
Head home and sleep
You will NOT need to pet your dog, as this run isn't the cringe one, that's the other one
To save optimally you have to press R1/R2 and ▢ to sleep optimally
Also optimising the timing on the menuing is important
After 32 sleeps your phone will ring
At this point you have to spam the skip buttons until the screen flashes
At that point the run is done!
