A person I follow did this and I was wondering if this was known about. Apparently, he scoured the net and couldn't find anything about it, so I thought it might be a good idea to ask, just in case it's actually not known about/undocumented

I actually found this by accident a few weeks ago when I was playing around in Norfair. There are these clusters of destroyable blocks and it is possible to perform that trick on all of them. In fact, it works without a bomb jump there, just a normal block clip by quickmorphing and jumping. I tried to use it in order to access the room with the energy tank above, but I couldn't get any useful results.

There are some awesome Game Genie code I've played around with. The two real dope ones are the one that lets you walk through walls and the other one lets you bomb regular bricks as if they were destructible ones. This has allowed me to explore a ton out of bounds. You can even get over to the area to the right in your above video clip. Cheers.
