As someone who has next to no knowledge on speedrunning or this site, but is very interested in both, would a category for the new Boss Rush modes be possible to add to the leaderboards?

We are holding off on adding those for now. If we added it immediately we would be absolutely swamped by mass submissions.

Is that really such a bad thing? To me that would just be an indication for the confirmation of the demand and I assume that's why the massive amount of 18 verifiers exist, no?

while it is not inherently a bad thing. It places unecessary stress on the verifiier team by having to verify day one submissions which are going to be surpassed by the next immediate run anyways. Please keep in mind this is volunteer work and full length runs take a while to verify as is, this alleviates some pressure.

Totally understandable why you'd wait for a bit to allow them, and I'm looking forward to when they do get added.

Boss Rush categories are coming soon. An announcement was made in the discord. Staffing isn't the primary reasoning behind the delays regardless.

Hi ! Maybe we can get.... Survival as well ?

Does anyone know a consistent setup to get the quick kill on the Ferenia Central Unit in boss rush? I can only get it like 1% of the time and I don't know what I'm doing different when I get it.

You can try the no damage strat marshmard does. Other than that...just grind

I normally try to get the speed booster there, if my 2nd attempt doesnt work I just shoot missiles
