I have 2 questions. 1: can you start a run with your character in 3rd person. 2: Im on a Mobile tablet and when running Minecraft and my recording software I lag A LOT, how can i make this less of an issue.
pretty sure 3rd person is allowed straight away, as timing starts at first movement, and switching perspective opening inventory and pausing all don't start the run.
try to lower your render distance, close all unnessecary apps in the background,and turn everything off that makes your game look better
you can start in 3rd person, try to lower render distance. (also @quickcuppa was slightly wrong when saying opening inventory dosent start time, it starts time in peaceful runs, just thought I should clear that up)
Thanks, also I'm doing all my runs in Hard difficulty. Getting a good time on hard is more of an accomplishment than on anything else.

We have a new rule for all platforms, for random seed runs.
After completing a Top Run (Top 5 Main Category/1st ILs), you must exit the world and go to the main menu.
For top Windows runners, you still have to do PowerShell verification.
