This is an idea for a new type of Minecraft speedrun. It's a bit of a meme, as youre about to see, but id like to see how the community takes it. it's called the staircase% run, and the goal is to make the (second) least efficient staircase in Minecraft, going up 1 block and across 13. it consists of the following, from shortest to tallest: Lily Pad, Carpet, Redstone Comparator, Trapdoor, Daylight sensor, Campfire, Boat, Slab, Bed, Enchanting Table, Chest, Path Block, Block (any kind). the goal of the run is to create the staircase, run up it, and run down it again. yo could add end rods to the mix (in between the Bed and Enchant) but i think that would be a bit much. im not a speedrunner, but i got my run to a 50:45. i wanna see how low the community can take this absolute meme of a speedrun.
