I’m thinking of starting a replay story run and was wondering if the always Batman extra is ok because it gives Batman the merch gun and master building. The rules say all extras are ok but I didn’t know if this would make Batman count as a different Character.

yeah I would say it's ok to use, any and all extras are allowed so I don't see why not
