The stair case skip is in the any% route, along with many other mouthful skips. Minimum mouthfuls is currently basically just any%.
ye that thing is alredy done by everyone lol, it can be even faster than that so is like a lot lot faster than just getting the staircase that happends with a lot of stuffs, so is true that it would be a lot like any% tho there are some quite interesting things to check
some cases of changes would be mainly coming from hammer superjumping, for example we have the fact that you can skip pretty drasticly the tube and the car in 6-4 (pretty affected level), or with a simple superjump you can skip the lightbulb in 3-3 and 5-4 also, a very interesting point is that is completly mandatory to get dragon to skip the boat at the end of 6-2, and some litle route change in w5 to avoid water mouthfull in 5-2 (which is just done for 2 waddle dees), or in w3 for not getting car in 3-2 (ig you can just pass away)
it can be pretty interesting to try, we would have to prove how much it affects over the normal route of any% i think someone alredy tried it
