Alright, so, due to the fact that theres no information about this anywhere i decided to post images of every character stats.
Quick info on what is each stat:

Stamina: health bar
G-Stamina: this determines how many sprays does it take for you to lose in a taggers tag (the lower, the fastest you die)
Spray: how many cans you can carry
Graffiti: the rate in which you tag a graffiti (the higher, the fastest)
Acceleration: how long it takes to reach max speed
Cornering: how well/bad the character can turn
Grind: how efficient you can land in a rail

Dogenzaka Cop Fight

Messing up the Dogen cop fight isn't so bad, there are only 2 groups of police, which the human mind can easily keep track of, even if the cops split up to a small extent.

Little "chaos theory" too since there's so few cops in an arena with few obstacles, unlike for example Shibuya.

Fortified Quick Jets guide.

It's actually pretty simple to no-damage Jets, but a simple mistake people make when playing is getting hit by the Jets and dying.

When you land on the first Jet, immediately start holding the right trigger and then jump forward, then keep holding it and by the time you land you should have sprayed the second Jet too.

Once you master the movement, you're one step closer to being a JSRF PRO.

I created a little pastebin detailing all the most useful techniques in JSRF speedrunning and how they work.

This doesn't have any skips, glitches, or other extras you can find in places like the discord, or jsrfspeedruns.com

It's essentially just what you really need to know for IL's and some extra stuff thrown in there that I call, 
" Sub - Movement " options.

It starts with the very basics, what each button does and how they are used, and then quickly gets into 
how FB's , PS's , KTR's and etc work together. 

I'll probably be updating it here and there to trim down some of the heavy reading sections, as I get into some 
science / tech behind a few of the tricks, but I think its a really great WIKI / FAQ type document for those 
who are either beginners, or are considering taking their runs more seriously and want to really get a grasp on 
precise movement options. 

There's even a section explaining how to do 90 degree and 180 degree QT's , which for me seemed non- intuitive to learn , so I felt it was important enough to add to the guide.

If you wish to learn more in-depth things, like Death Warps, for example, the website and discord are likely more suited for you, but since many of those things and glitches are used more for any % or souls % type main game runs, and not IL movement, I left them out to save time and space.

Feel free to recommend anything I missed that has to do purely with movement, not with skips or glitches.

I also decided to rename Pole Jumps and Ladder Jumps, to VCJ ( Vertical Canceled Jumps ) to save time. 
Since a GCJ ( Grind Canceled Jump ) would essentially just be a frameboost if done perfectly, it doesn't really exist lol.

But it might also be better to call it a VH ( Vert Hop ) as that is a little easier to say. I'll figure it out.

Mashing through dialogue efficiently

Spam the A-button like it owes you money.

Some of us bring the controller up to our face when we're mashing which helps for some odd reason.

Hold left on the thumbstick when you're mashing through dialogue with a <Yes/No> choice in it to instantly select the "Yes" choice and never again choose "No" by accident.

In Deathball however, be careful, after the 2.5 minute 'running passes with Jazz' session, if you accidentally say "Yes" to her when she asks you for more practice, you'll be loaded in for another 2.5 mins, and won't be able to exit it until it's done. For this part, don't hold left, just leave the thumbstick in the default position when spamming here.

Rokkaku cop fight skip

The Rokkaku cop fight skip saves you well over a minute of time for JSRF speedruns. It's tricky to pull off, but with practice you can become fluent at it.

Initially it will take you pretty much 20 sec to do it, but with practice you can cut it down to 5 seconds.

Not really a guide per se, but I made a video which I uploaded to youtube on various players doing the cop fight skip. If you're sloppy at the technique, you want to see if you can optimize your current method, or just want to roughly observe the boundaries of the trigger, check it out here.

In words, basically there's a trigger that if you hit in game, the cop fight will commence. If you play the game the way it was designed, it's unavoidable. The trigger almost entirely isolates a M-sized graffiti you need to spray. However, we (ingenious) speedrunners have outsmarted the Japanese dudes once again- oh yes.

There's a tiny tiny window where you can stand, and just about reach the graffiti without breaking the trigger. You need to approach it very delicately, slowly, and certain angles are preferred. I won't write a thesis on it or anything though, but there are a few things to note.

1) Being a non-dialogue trigger, you can activate it even while airborne (jumping to get off the floor won't stop it from starting the cop fight).

2) You need 3 cans at least, but you'll generally have ~20 so cans shouldn't be an issue.

3) Boost jumping the gap is possible and probably easier but unnecessary.

Why you cannot get the Sewer Skip

Edit: SS works on the NTSC-J (japanese) version of the game too.

This is a short guide on how to actually get Sewer Skip (SS) working for you.

You will need:
- Any Xbox original (Version/Ltd edition doesn't matter)
- Copy of JSRF combo-disc NTSC-U

I assume you've already tried several times to get SS and failed all despite getting perfect jumps. If you're using a PAL copy of the game the glitch will not work.

1. Delete your cache.
2. Launch the combo-disc and enter the Sewers level.

Your SS will now work.

Feel free to switch to standalone NTSC and happy skipping.

HOW TO DELETE YOUR CACHE:

Edit: Play up to 3 other games to clear your cache.

You can also find your cache folder if your Xbox is modded by browsing through the various partitions looking for a file called "Media". It contains your JSRF game files. Delete that file. (Note that if you installed the game onto your system (FTP or disc copy), you don't necessarily need to delete the installation.)

For me it saves to the X or Z partition.

HOW this works:

You deleted your old cache, this meant that the combo-disc will no longer read the old cache, but will write a new one. The combo disc contains the glitch, but the standalone does not. If SS was not working for you before but now is, your cache was from the standalone variant of the game or some other source (perhaps downloaded).

Don't be afraid to delete your cache by the way. A new one will be written on game-startup.
Your loading times on combo disc after clearing the cache will be TERRIBLE. If you have a standalone copy of the game, you can switch to that right after entering the Sewers level.

After clearing your cache it's a good idea to enter every level or you'll be losing time to bad loads.
