Will the emulator OpenEMU be able to be used for runs? It's the only emulator which works well, which is available for Mac. Just want to make sure before i submit runs :D
ePSXe is the only allowed emulator so far. However, if that one is proven to be accurate, we could add it to the list
Maybe somebody can to the same test we did for other emulators/versions (go to 1st savebook as fast as possible, then compare IGT/RTA).
Just done it twice to ensure results were right got the same each time
IGT to Save = 2,11
RTA Book - 1.42 Black - 1.44 Load - 1.50 Gameplay - 2.31 load 2 -2.38 Saved - 2.48
Yep, that's all okay. OpenEMU is a valid emulator, that gets the same IGT as ePSXe 1.9. RTA is weirdly a lot slower, but that's mainly due to OpenEMU being more accurate with loads - they're exactly the same as PS1's, whereas ePSXe has faster loads, slower black screens. I'll post the current table of results in a guide.
Hey everyone. Today we have a small update for you all regarding some changes to the rules regarding recordings of runs.
For a long, long time now it has been a requirement for PC runs to have both clear visuals of the game throughout the entire run (so not hiding any game HUD elements or FPS count
