Line up as shown in the video, press Space, and as soon as possible press W+LMB, then spam E while looking at the key. If you can't grab it, even after spinning the camera around all its parts, it means you're either too early or too late, and need to reload the checkpoint. This skip is pretty unforgiving, and even myself can't do this consisent.
