The rules for the 100% category say to "get the full ending", so I'm wondering if there are any differences in the ending. I collected all lips (428 according to the save slot) and the only change I noticed was a different title screen.

Nope, no different endings. I forget what I had in mind with that verbage but 100% should be all lips and finish all the stages including the post-game ones.
