Pause Glitch Guide

How to do the "Pause Glitch."

Things to know: V-Sync has to be on because this glitch is frame rate depended... or so it's assumed.

1) Pause during the beginning of the final phase on either Chain, Strap, or Burst.

2) Keep shooting at the boss, you can't see your character, but you can see where your bullets travel.

3) When the screen zooms back out where you can see your character again, keep shooting and pausing at the same time. 

If done correctly the boss should dash to the right or left, skipping the whole bullet hell phase. You may not get it first try, it's very precise. Here's a video on me doing it, it may take one more pauses, I just happened to get it on my first pause. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LA1JBEyrLYM

Player Damage and Boss Health Info

[section=Explanation]

• Shield is the first health bar during normal play.
• Health is the second health bar during "duels".
• Everything else describes the health of enemies/objects that need to be destroyed to complete the boss fight.
• The health points of each phase is separated by commas, like so: Shield: First Phase, Second Phase, Third Phase...
• All numbers are stored as floats, and everything is in multiples of 0.5 (e.g. you cannot have a damage of 2.3).
• The N's represent values that are not applicable, even if they have real values.
• All these values were discovered using Cheat Engine.

__Player Health:__ 10
        • Healing Pickup: 1
	• Parry Heal: 0.5

__Player Damage:__
	• Single bullet: 0.5
	• Not fully charged shot: 2
	• Fully charged shot: 5
	• Parried bullet: Equal to bullet damage
	• Single bullet (The Star): 0.5
	• Charged Laser (The Star): Too hard to measure, but has burst of damage on first hit, then has a lower DPS.

	• Normal slash: 1
	• Final slash of combo: 2
	• Full slash combo: 1+1+1+2 = 5
	• Charged slash: 2
	• Stun combo cinematic: 5
	• Boosted slash: 6
	• Boosted, fully charged slash: 6
