Go to the settings tab in your profile and there’s a spot to change your username.

@Pear They weren't asking how to change their name. They were asking if they can get the name of an inactive account with no runs.

And you take the name of an inactive account by doing what I described. That’s how I got my current username.

You get no message saying that username is already taken?

Apparently, not if the exist username hasn't been active for at least 6 months and have no submitted runs. I think Starsmiley told us about it.
