May have mentioned this before. When people tag your name in a thread, would be nice to get a notification of that, or a notification when you get a "like"...simple stuff like this

Others have mentioned this before, and people seem to be in favor of it. The only problem is how to stop abuse of the system, someone could post and then delete their post repeatedly. When someone liked your post used to give a notification, but it was removed.

I think like notifications used to be a thing but were removed because of people spamming people with them

Yeah, I see the angle of those problems. Sucks

@Bob-chicken when pinging people, if a post is deleted within a minute or something with a tag then that person won't get notified. There could also be an option to turn of that notification for specific users and forums
