It’s that time of year again! I’m gonna be making a video recapping what happened on SR.C this year.

I will have a draft of what I have down for each month ready within a day or two.

Events that I am highlighting in the recap are not delegated to one community unless said community is very high profile. Events that are being highlighted happened on site and had an impact on all users.

I have been compiling every single notable speedrunning discovery/accomplishment I saw for the past year. Here is what I have

The same goes for myself! I've got much more time in my life this year which... might be a bad thing But it'd make for a good sheet I imagine

Awesome compilation Merl_, I remembered a tenth of the stuff on there and the rest is really interesting

When I get home I'll make a spreadsheet/google doc for 2023 and I'll let you guys help. I only really follow webgames and Nintendo speedrunning, so the stuff that I write down is mostly going to be related to that. Having runners from other communities will make the recap way better.

Just post suggestions for what to include. Any WRs being broken I probably won’t include unless the game is very high profile and a huge barrier is broken (eg sub 3 on red ball 1). Most things that will be talked about in the vid will be site related things that had more of an impact on the community and not just taking about speedrunners’ accomplishments (unless said accomplishments had the same impact). That for me would be like telling the same joke 50 times.

Anyway I’ll make the list today in another post. Keep suggestions coming and I may include one if it’s good.
