This hasn't been fixed @hahhah42. I noticed this as well. And sometimes it just never loads and I have to exit the page.

No, just checked my messages and I have 1 from 32 minutes ago and I didn't get the red indicator

2 days later, just realized from this thread that I wasn’t getting the red dot.

It’s been a long time before this thread.

The load time is still an issue, so I'm assuming the notification icon is, too.

Since we're bumping threads that are still relevant.

Yeah I remember getting some site notifications 20 minutes later than they were supposed to appear. Would be really great if that was fixed too.
