I didn’t know whether to put this in Talk or The Site so I put it here. Recently, I noticed safari in iOS 14 has a feature that blocks at least some known trackers. I decided to see how many of these trackers Speedrun.com is trying to use to sell our data, well here you go.

Privacy? Never heard of it. I’m willing to bet the site didn’t have so many trackers before ELO took it over 🤔

Oh boy I sure hope amazon doesn't see me on this site and start trying to sell me a Nintendo 64 and an original Paper Mario cart. That sure would suck.

Indeed, indeed. If anyone needs any more proof that ELO is just trying to turn Speedrun.com into a cash cow to be milked at the expense of its users, this is it.

I can remember how in the beginning, Speedrun.com was VERY far down on the list with the trackers. Now it’s on the second place on the top.

EDIT: When I Wrote this, there were 19 trackers, now it’s 25, and another edit, now it’s 21 lol (and all of these are from the Moment, not overall, overall I got 44)

I have 20 travkers being blocked rn and 101 from recently, most are from speedrun.com
